SEVEN OUT OF TEN AMERICANS PREFER "MERRY CHRISTMAS"

Conducted by UCLA. More than 14,000 freshmen from 136 campuses were surveyed at the beginning of their school year in 2004, and then re-surveyed as their junior year came to a close in 2007. In particular, those surveyed believed religion and spirituality were important in their lives.
